The pregnancy is quite a lengthy process, averaging 40 weeks from the conception to the birth. During this time both the fetus and the mother underwent constant, often dramatic changes. Every week is different from the others, and for the first-time parents it’s like a journey into the unknown. The pregnancy is usually measured in weeks, but it’s not easy to readily say which the current week is, if you don’t have a calendar at hand (and even then). Moreover, there are important dates and milestones which are easy to miss, if one doesn’t keep track of time. Then it’s always good to know when the baby will be born, how much time is left till then, how big it is now, what changes in the mother’s body should be expected etc.
BToday was created as a tool to answer these questions, and to help the parents stay informed, learn more about the pregnancy and better prepare for the birth.
