It's not very useful to have rest breaks at firmly fixed intervals. It is much better if the break times adapt to your work, so you get reminded to rest when you really need it - for example when you have worked 20 minutes straight - instead of when you have just returned from your coffee break. To achieve this flexibility, WorkPause is able to track the mouse and keyboard activity on your computer. The frequency of the clicks is monitored, and if there has been no activity for some time, the main counter can be paused or restarted. You can enable or disable the tracking at will. If you disable it, the rest breaks will just occur at fixed intervals and there will be no information about the clicks count in the statistics page. In addition, for Screen-Locking alerts, the locking can be delayed until you make a natural break of several seconds (this is useful for example to prevent WorkPause from interrupting you when you are in a hurry typing a long paragraph).See also:
