Tray Icon
While WorkPause works in the background, its tray icon is always visible in the system tray, close to the clock.
The icon will always show how much time is left till the next rest break - or to the end of the current break. The time is shown in minutes.
The icon appearance can change, depending on the program status:

You can change the font of the icon from the
miscellaneous settings page.
Clicking the tray icon with the left mouse button will bring up the
Settings Dialog. Right-clicking it will show a context menu with the following commands:
- Settings
- Shows the settings dialog, where you can change the frequency, duration and types of the rest breaks.
- Statistics
- Shows the statistics page.
- About
- Shows the about page. Here you can enter your registration code.
- Restart Counter
- Start counting from the beginning.
- Pause
- Temporarily stop the counter. Useful e.g. when you are in a meeting and do not want to be interrupted.
- Toggle Mode
- Switch the mode from working to resting and vice versa.
- Exit
- Quits WorkPause. Note that it'll be started again the next time you start Windows. To prevent this from happening, you need to disable the Auto-run option in the miscellaneous settings page.
For convenience, some of these commands also have shortcuts; for example you can use
Shift + Left Click to restart the counter, or
Alt + Left Click to stop it.
